Not so f***ing big house party

Soooooooooooo! House parties rule, huh? Hehehe.
Phoebe and her flat mates threw one last night. Before hand me and Charlie went for a meal, then at the bus stop I kept sneezing so some woman was like 'you must be allegic to him hahahahaha'...yeah...funny...:p
We headed to Putney spoons and met up with Phoebe, Katie, Juan, Juan Jose and Harold. Played I never and Jenga, fun times! Then we met Kyle. John was already at her flat. Richard and Tom came later on.
At first it was a bit awkward but things started to flow and we all played I never again, put on some music from Juan's ipod. Nik came. Stuff went down. Revelations occured.
It was fun though! We danced loads and after me, Charlie, Harold and Kyle left we saw Anton, Jason and Nicholas outside smoking with a 12 year old they didn't know, who was on a bike. Hahaha. They kept asking if there was weed or cocaine at the party. Nope. Nada. No way.

Goth Night

Okay so...
I'm housebound. I sprained my ankle when I fell off the pavement.
Yes, I was drunk.
Ha! Well anyway, I went up to Sheffield and it was goth night at a club so we all decided to dress up. We were scared they would think we're imposters and burn us with cigarettes, but it was all good!

Basically...there are three types of emo's.

Type 1) The person who listen to My Chemical Romance/Panic! At the disco/Taking Back Sunday and enjoy hearing people scream about broken hearts and pain. This kind of emoness potrays men as the ones seeking love - usually women are portrayed as neurotic seekers of love, but in the world of emo's...nah mate, it's the men.

Then there is type 2)...the kind of person who says 'I'm feeling a bit emo today'. This type is me. Someone who is feeling down, wants to listen to normal music that isn't so much 'screamo' but about broken hearts and wallow in sorrow, wearing a frown, like pierrot the clown.

Then there's finally, type 3) - the happy emo. The person who dresses sort of indie but has the dramatic eye make up and big hair, the converse boots teamed with skinny jeans...the person who has the image of an emo without any of the emotion attatched.

Hence, my rant on emoness has finished.

Paris!

So! On Friday the 11th of January, 2008, me and Charlie set off for Paris! It was £135 altogether for 3 nights stay in a 3 star b & b including Eurostar travel. Pretty hardcore.

On the first day we slept for 5 hours when we arrived, because out train left at 5.25 in the morning. My Dad was supposed to be giving us a lift to St.Pancras but his car broke down half way, so we had to get a taxi. In the evening we explored the area and went for a meal.

The next day we went to the Lourve! It was so much fun, but the mona lisa was crap, I have to say. All around the lourve they had soldiers with machine guns, it was pretty hardcore.

On Sunday we went to the Champs Elysse, which is basically a mix of Oxford Street and Sloane Street, the Eiffel tower and the arc du triomphe. Charlie went up the Eiffel without me, and I kept getting harassed by Gypsies. He was gone a whole hour, haha!

On our last day we went to Notre Dame, back to the Champs and visited the Eiffel tower at night. Here are some photossss!

I have to say I just read Vanessa's blog and it inspired me...so :p !

So. 2007. What an odd year it's been...from having Charlie just around the corner at the local college, to miles away in a whole different city. To hating university to enjoying it and the great people who go there. From always thinking friendships would last to realising that some just start as starlight and fade to glimmers...

It hasn't been the greatest year. 2006 was epic: College with the coolest friends (Dan, Sadia etc), gardening club with the coolest people(Vanessa, Phoebe, Nik, Ben, Vasant, Tall James, Darek), shopping with the coolest girls (Vanessa, Phoebe), a hilarious holiday to the isle of wight and generally having a ball.
2007...frustrating deadlines, missing a person I'll never ever forget and being in denial about her being in a whole different country, the slipping away of Juan and numerous trips to Sheffield. But it's also has some good times...Random trips to Brighton, Dublin, cocktails and glitter at roxies and revolutions, the makings of a lolzy relationship with Tom and the re-evaluated and appreciated knowledge of Katie and Harold.
It makes me wonder what 2008 will bring...the dreaded age of being a 20 year old looms. When asked my age I still automatically reply 18 and I don't even think it's incorrect. Which friendships will finally leave forever, which will remain strong and which will develop...

Alllooooooo everyone.
I have been extremely busy, hence why NOW I am blogging right in the middle of the chaos to distract myself. Ha.

I will write about Sheffield! And when I went to the LBG night there (lesbian, bisexual, gay). Coincidentally, they call it Climax. Think of that what you will!

So Sadia and Sophie were in town staying with Dan, I was staying with Charlie and Lukas and Dominika are Dan's friends. We all met in the SU bar and had a few cheap drinks then headed for the cheesiest night of music ever...they played bewitched, spice girls and five. All my favourites, ha.

I got quite drunk which is always fun! We were trying to guess if this guy called Tall Paul was gay or not...(he really is very tall, almost as tall as me even when I was standing on the podium...maybe about 6"9?)

19th Birthday :D

Hehe so my 19th...

I got ready at Phoebe's house and arrived at Tottenham Court Road at 9pm to go to our famous vodka bar, and not having eaten anything but soup since 4pm, got drink after two drinks.
I got hideously pissed so all the photos of me are disgusting.
And AGAIN it was a suprise birthday party, so they're were quite a few people there.

Apparently I cried for two hours because Charlie accused me of flirting with Juan, who was also drunk. But apart from that there is not much to report, just photographs haha.

So today it is raining and all I have for company is my fish (one of which eyes has been bitten off but it's fellow lover) my dog, who is sleeping and my cat who is probably prowling around somewhere. I'm meant to be meeting Juan but I think he might forget about it, or call me too late...
